Airports we serve around New York City

Quick answer: One reservation desk covers six airports: JFK, LaGuardia and Newark for most airline flights, Teterboro for private aviation, and Westchester County and Long Island MacArthur for travelers north and east of the city. Hourly rates are the same at each one. Pick your airport below for pickup notes, or call (332) 241-7239.

New York is served by three large commercial airports and a ring of smaller fields, and the right car plan depends on which one you are using. A late international arrival at JFK, a morning shuttle into LaGuardia, a Newark connection with a New Jersey drop-off and a private jet into Teterboro are four different jobs. The board below lists each airport the desk covers, where it is, how its terminals are organized and which roads usually carry traffic in and out.

Departures board: six airports

Roads are listed for planning only. The chauffeur chooses the route on the day, and this site does not publish promised drive times because traffic across the bridges and tunnels changes by the hour.

The three major airports

JFK: John F. Kennedy International

JFK is in southeastern Queens and handles most long-haul international flights into New York. It has several separate terminals, and a large redevelopment program is changing roadways and curbs. Name the airline and terminal on the reservation and expect customs time on international arrivals. Details are on JFK airport car service and the route page JFK to Manhattan car service.

LGA: LaGuardia

LaGuardia sits on Flushing Bay in East Elmhurst, Queens, and handles mostly domestic flights. Its rebuilt Terminals A, B and C are separate buildings with their own frontages, so the terminal matters as much as the airline. See LGA airport car service.

EWR: Newark Liberty International

Newark is in New Jersey, between the cities of Newark and Elizabeth, and is often the best airport for Lower Manhattan, the West Side and New Jersey addresses. Trips into Manhattan cross the Hudson, so tolls belong on the quote. See EWR airport car service.

Private aviation and regional airports

TEB: Teterboro

Teterboro is the region's main business-aviation airport, in Bergen County, New Jersey. There is no airline terminal; you are met at the FBO. See Teterboro airport car service.

HPN: Westchester County

Westchester County Airport, near White Plains, has one compact airline terminal and a private-aviation side. It is often the closest airport for Westchester and lower Fairfield County. See HPN airport car service.

ISP: Long Island MacArthur

MacArthur, in Ronkonkoma, is a single-terminal airport in the middle of Suffolk County and a convenient arrival point for the Hamptons and the North Fork. See ISP airport car service.

What to send for any airport pickup

  • The airport and, for airline flights, the airline, flight number and terminal.
  • For private flights, the FBO name and the tail or trip number.
  • Date, passenger count and every bag, including strollers and sports equipment.
  • Curbside meeting or inside greeting.
  • The full drop-off address, with any stops in order.
  • A mobile number for the traveler on the day.

With the flight number on file, dispatch plans around the actual arrival rather than the scheduled time. Transfer waiting follows the written quote, and hourly bookings use the booked window. Rates for each vehicle class are on the rates page; the overview of airport-to-city trips is on NYC airport transfers.

Frequently asked questions

Which airports does Airport Car Service NYC serve?

John F. Kennedy International (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), Newark Liberty International (EWR), Teterboro (TEB), Westchester County (HPN) and Long Island MacArthur (ISP). Each has its own page with pickup notes and local routes.

Is the price different at each airport?

Hourly hire uses the same published rates at every airport: $120 per hour for a sedan and $150 for an SUV, including gratuity and fees, with S-Class from $175 and Sprinter from $200, each with a 3-hour minimum. Direct transfers are quoted by route, so the distance and tolls for each airport are reflected in that quote.

Curbside or inside greeting: which should I choose?

Curbside suits travelers with light luggage who are comfortable walking to the designated pickup area. An inside greeting suits first-time visitors, families and anyone with heavy bags. Say which you want when you book; greeting, parking and waiting terms appear on the written quote.

How is a private-aviation pickup different?

At Teterboro and at the FBOs at Westchester County Airport, the chauffeur meets you at the fixed-base operator rather than an airline terminal. Put the FBO name and tail or trip number on the reservation instead of an airline and terminal.

Can one car collect travelers arriving at two different airports?

Yes, as an hourly booking. List both flights and the order of pickups so dispatch can plan the time between airports. A direct transfer covers one pickup and one drop-off.
